Austin’s Soul Track Mind are hard to classify, musically. Their work is a collection of many different musical ideas, pulling equally from traditions of soul, jazz, and rock & roll to make something wholly unique. Their latest album, Unbreakable, brings their music into the 21st century; it’s a soulful, funky collection of songs that looks forward while pulling from the rich musical history that preceded it.
