The Bridge School Jazz-Fest returns for another year at Buck’s County Playhouse, and this year’s lineup is a doozy. The Dirty Bourbon River Show kick things off with hard-edged New Orleans jazz that pulls equally from delta blues as it does from Franz Liszt. The party continues with the Eric Mintel Quartet, whose smooth take on piano-based jazz has landed him gigs playing for the U.N. and for the President Of The United States. Orange Is The New Black star Lea DeLaria will be stopping by to show off the jazzier side of her repertoire, and the eclectic guitarist Livingston Taylor closes things out. Not a bad way to spend a long weekend, if you ask us. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Buck’s County Playhouse website.
