Robert Plant has been a busy guy this year, what with releasing a new album and heading back on the road with the Sensational Space Shifters. Last night, he took a bit of time off the road to stop by The Colbert Report for a chat with Stephen Colbert and a few performances. The interview started off lighthearted after Plant accidentally knocked his mic pack loose while running around the stage. (Actual quote from Colbert: “I never thought I’d start an interview by saying ‘I touched Robert Plant’s butt.'”). He then offered Colbert a bit of…ahem, herbal refreshment before taking to the stage with the Space Shifters to perform “Rainbow” and “Little Maggie” from lullabye…And The Ceaseless Roar.
