Chris Thile and Edgar Meyer are geniuses, and we’re not just saying that colloquially. The pair have both received MacArthur Genius grants for their contributions to music. The pair first performed together alongside Yo-Yo Ma and Stuart Duncan for The Goat Rodeo Sessions, and their new album, Bass & Mandolin, just came out this year. Thile has demonstrated his mastery of the mandolin in Nickel Creek and The Punch Brothers, and Meyer has interpreted an array of different genres over the course of his career. We’re certainly excited to see what they have in store for their performance at New York’s Town Hall. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Town Hall website.
