One of the true purveyors of “sacred steel” music, Robert Randolph is a master on what producer Don Was once called the most complex instrument in the world. Few are as skilled on the steel as Robert Randolph, and few groups are as committed to the art of live performance as he is with his Family Band. The band are road warriors, performing hundreds of times a year. Whether in a house of worship or in front of a festival crowd, Randolph’s music sounds right at home.
