There’s so much to the music of Lemuria that just calling them a “punk” band would be doing them a great disservice. From the very start, the tender, emotional nature of singer/guitarist Sheena Ozzella’s lyrics were as important as the driving rhythms and the band’s fervent attack. It’s no wonder the band has inspired such a fervent, devoted following. Their latest album, The Distance Is So Big, showcases a more mature side of the band that was always bound to come out. We can’t wait to hear what they come up with next.  The band will be bringing their absolutely killer live show to The Rhythm Room in Phoenix, and we’re sure that they’ll bring the house down.
