U2 are headed back to the road in support of their new album, Songs Of Innocence. The 44-date ‘iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE’ tour is set to kick off at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver in May 2015.
The tour finds U2 performing at some of the most famous arena in the world, including New York’s Madison Square Garden and London’s O2 Arena. More dates could be added to the band’s schedule once the original dates sell out.
A U2 tour would normally be a big event, but this one could be considered more momentous as it will mark Bono’s return to the stage. The singer has been out of action after suffering injuries in a bicycle accident in New York earlier this year. The injury forced U2 to cancel a planned residency on ‘The Tonight Show,’ and the band almost pulled out of this week’s World AIDS Day Concert before choosing to go on with Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin filling in for Bono.
Tickets for the ‘iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE’ tour go on sale on December 8th, with a fan pre-sale taking place on December 4th. Check out the full list of tour dates below:
