Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson is getting some of his equally talented buddies together to raise money for a good cause. Stinson will be backed by Happiness, a band consisting of 3/5ths of Deer Tick (who played with the Mats in Forest Hills this fall); joining him will be Old 97’s frontman Rhett Miller, singer/songwriter Elvis Perkins, and Jesse Malin, among others. Tommy’s daughter Ruby will also be performing, as well as a few surprise guests. All proceeds will go to benefit Habitat for Humanity; charity has never had a better soundtrack.
