2014 was a hell of a year for Sharon Van Etten. The Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter released what could be her best album yet, Are We There, which made more than a few best-of-the-year lists (including ours). She’s been out on the road promoting the album to kick off 2015, but she decided to do something different when she stopped by Ellen yesterday. While on the show, Van Etten premiered a brand new song, “I Don’t Want To Let You Down,” which is scheduled to come out on an EP later this year. Van Etten has been playing the song live for some time now, but this is the first time she’s played the song for an audience this big. You can check out Van Etten’s performance below:
