Death Cab For Cutie are returning with a new album and a new lineup this year, and the band kicked off 2015 with an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman. The band performed “Black Sun,” the first single from their upcoming album Kitsugi; the ominous track adds a few more shades of darkness to Death Cab’s palate. Letterman, on the other hand, seemed more preoccupied with wondering how a band from Washington state hadn’t climbed Mount Whitney yet. You can watch the full performance below:
