Next week, Jack White will release the latest single from his album Lazzaretto, and the vinyl-loving guitarist has a surprise for his fans on the upcoming 7-inch. While the A-side of White’s new single features “That Bat Black Licorice,” the flip side finds White paying tribute to, of all people, Harry Connick Jr. We never figured White to be that much of a jazz fan, but his rendition of Connick’s “Blue Light, Red Light (Someone’s There)” is surprisingly faithful to the lounge-jazz sound that Connick typically plays.
