Coming off a successful year in which they released They Want My Soul to enormous critical acclaim, Spoon has announced a North American tour set for the spring.

The tour kicks off on May 9 with a set at the Homegrown Festival in Dallas, Texas and runs through an appearance at the Firefly Music Festival, which will be held over the weekend of June 18-21 in Dover, Delaware. Other festival dates on the tour include appearances at Bonnaroo, Sasquatch, and the Hangout Music Festival. Also of note is a co-headlining show with Future Islands at the Malkin Bowl in Vancouver, British Columbia on May 24 and co-headlining shows with the Decemberists at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Oregon and the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Boulder, Colorado on May 22 and May 27, respecitvely.
