Nashville’s Turbo Fruits have long been one of the best things to come out of that city’s psych-rock scene. Their fried, raucous take on familiar garage-rock sounds has helped them to stand out, and they only seem to be getting better with each new record. Their newest album, No Control, comes out on April 20th, and if “Don’t Let Me Break Your Heart Again” is any indication, it’ll be the album on which Turbo Fruits grow up a little bit. The hard partying of songs past is replaced by tinges of romantic regret, and the band sound tighter than ever before. Don’t worry, though: Turbo Fruits still rock.
