Last year, Delta Spirit took a great leap forward with their new album Into The Wilde. The indie-rock group have always been a song-centric band, but lest you think that means they take themselves too seriously, the band are back to show off their charming silly side in the new video for album highlight “Language Of The Dead,” which premiered on Nerdist today. Directed by lead singer Matt Vasquez, the lo-fi video uses green screens and low-budget special effects to tell the story of Agamemnon, Robert E. Lee, and Leo Tolstoy teaming up to fight an intergalactic threat that bears a striking resemblance to Vasquez’s cat. Vasquez has cited Mel Brooks as an inspiration for the video, and it’s clear to see why. You can check out the video below:
