With a new album, Sound & Color, on the way, Alabama Shakes have been all over television recently. The band returned to the Saturday Night Live stage two weeks ago, and they made their way downtown to The Late Show With David Letterman last night. The band performed their funk/soul hybrid single “Don’t Wanna Fight” with the help of some backing singers, though Brittany Howard’s voice is enough to fill a room. It’s no surprise that Letterman seemed excited to have the band back on his stage one more time before he departs in the fall. You can watch the band’s performance of “Don’t Wanna Fight” below.
