With his unpretentious demeanor and his goofy sense of humor, indie rocker Mac DeMarco has a reputation for being something of a slacker. Once he gets on stage, though, he’s as lively and vibrant as any other musician, as he proved on Conan last night. Appearing on the show to promote his 2014 album Salad Days, DeMarco and his band treated the audience to a lively performance of “Let Her Go.” There’s a visible joy on DeMarco’s face as he performs, and it’s hard not to get taken along for the ride.
