The fifteen-piece New York jam masters Jesus On The Mainline were one of our favorite discoveries of 2014 when we first caught their live show. Seeing them is an experience that you absolutely have to have, and not just to see how they fit that many band members on stage. They channel elements of soul, rock, and R&B in their dizzying sound, which they apply to both their great original material and to some interesting cover choices: their cover of Nirvana’s “Lithium” has to be heard to be believed.
