Lots of bands try to rock these days, but few young bands rock as hard as Turbo Fruits. The Nashville-based quartet play pure, no-frills rock ‘n’ roll that can be raucous and surprisingly thoughtful, as is evident on their latest album, No Control. The new record finds the band taking steps towards maturity and moving away from their image as rambunctious party animals while contemplating the greater things in life in their music. Don’t expect much to change about their live show, though; these guys know how to tear the house down, and they aren’t afraid to do it.
