Indie/alternative folk singer Stephen Teckenoff has just released his latest single, “Troubled Times,” from his debut EP, due out later this year. “Troubled Times” follows his debut single, “Almost Home,” which generated a warm reception and anticipation for more, back in October 2014, placing him on Spreading The Seed’s “Ones to Watch” list.

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Teckenoff’s crisp guitar sounds and high-range pop/folk vocals are reminiscent of Dave Matthews, displaying a vibrant energy with his up-tempo chorus, infused with lyrics exploring the uncertainties of life’s journey and his own self-discovery.

“Troubled Times” embraces these moments of reflection upon a tumultuous relationship through a conversation with his lover. “It’s going to be a long, cold night,” he sings as he searches for resolution and clarity in these “Troubled Times.”
