Whiskerman’s upcoming album, NOMAD—due out October 9, and produced by Jeff Saltzman (the Killers, Blondie)—simply doesn’t let up. Known in the Bay Area for their often rowdy shows, Whiskerman’s raw, large sound on every single NOMAD track proves they’re just as powerful on record as they are live.
“One Good Way”—the second of the new album’s ten tracks and its second single, after “Cardinal City”—kicks off with a fun drum intro that quickly blends into a catchy rock/folk tune with frontman Graham Patzner’s vocals shining through. Even if this is your first time listening to Whiskerman, Patzner sounds very welcoming. As Patzner’s inviting vocals prove, this is going to be the album that transitions us easily from summer to fall.
