Mark Newman cut his teeth playing with legends people only dream of seeing: John Oates, Jim McCarty of the Yardbirds, Sam the Sham and more. Playing with and learning from them throughout his long and successful career, Newman is a seasoned performer and skilled singer/songwriter in his own right.
Newman will stop by Rockwood Music Hall on Wednesday, October 7th in support of his latest EP, Brussells, which the world-traveler recorded in the Belgian city of the same name. Newman undoubtedly has wide-ranging instrumental talents, playing the guitar, mandolin, dobro and lap steel, but the show at Rockwood will find him focusing on the softer, acoustic side of his talents. Even acoustic, however, you can count on Newman to show off his influences from rock to folk to blues and back.
For more information and to purchase tickets, head to Rockwood’s website here.
Your tenacity and ability paid off Mark.
