It all started in her hometown of Maine, where Aly Spaltro- who goes by the stage name Lady Lamb- recognized her talent and honed it to perfection. Little did she expect, her singing/songwriting career would soon sky-rocket, taking her all over the world to perform.
Her music serves subject to existentialism, love, personal matters and much more. Spaltro released her first studio album, Ripley Pine, in 2003, and has recently completed and put out her sophomore project, After, on Mom+Pop records. A few sure-to-grab singles from the album: “Billions of Eyes,” a catchy up-beat track, and “Spat Out Spit,” a more low toned and dimmer song that will without a doubt lure in and build up more of an audience for the young artist.
Lady Lamb’s worldwide tour is underway, and her streak of concerts on the East Coast will begin Tuesday, October 27th in Charlottesville, VA at The Southern and stretch through Friday, November 6th at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. Lady Lamb is set to grace the Big Apple with back-to-back performances with The Districts at the Musical Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on November 4th & 5th.
