Before this year’s Carrie & Lowell, it had been five years since indie folk veteran Sufjan Stevens’ last solo album. And after such a long break between albums, Stevens simply delivered a back-to-his-roots collection of sparse, unadorned folk, recorded in his home studio. But that certainly doesn’t mean Stevens can’t deliver a dynamic performance and connect with an audience. Stevens’ show calendar has been full lately, and later this month, he’ll take his show to Denver’s Paramount Theatre. For tickets and info, click here.
