Given his time with both Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship, when Marty Balin wants to create an album of new arrangements of his past works, he’s got a hell of a repertoire from which to draw. Thus it’s no surprise at all that Balin’s new double-album of just that sort, Good Memories (released on Friday), is uniformly excellent. See more below:
