FitzGerald’s—along with the various nightclubs that have previously occupied its building—is a Chicagoland music institution. Artists of all stripes have been gracing its stage for decades. And when it came time to celebrate the venue’s 35th anniversary, they called upon one of the best: Marcia Ball.
In fact, Ball was FitzGerald’s first national touring act way back in 1981. Since then, she’s returned year after year, and now, she’ll bring her southern blues and boogie-woogie back to Fitzgerald’s and its surely roaring crowd of revelers.
