You may know him as the son of legendary Muscle Shoals bassist David Hood. You may know him from his new band with R.E.M.’s Mike Mills and members of Widespread Panic. You surely know him as the founder, singer, guitarist of Drive-By Truckers. And you should also know Patterson Hood for his solo work. Since 2004, while sticking with the Truckers, Hood has released three compelling solo albums worth of first-rate alt country and southern rock, and maintained a steady touring schedule.
