It’s virtually impossible to neatly summarize Todd Rundgren‘s career. The number and diversity of collaborators he’s worked with, the number of roles he’s filled as both a musician and producer, and the number of genres he’s worked in are all staggering. So it’s both tough and thrilling to imagine what “An Evening With Todd Rundgren” would be like–tough because there’s just so much ground to cover in one evening, and thrilling because, well, it’s a full evening of Todd Rundgren.

And on January 8, that full evening of Todd Rundgren is exactly what the fans at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, AZ will get.

That show comes in the thick of a virtually nonstop winter 2015-2016 tour that has Rundgren working straight through from just after Thanksgiving all the way until late February. Yes, after nearly 50 years, Rundgren is still at it. And we can all be glad that he is.
