Rachael Sage has released 12 full-length recordings, composed most of her own music (winning prizes like the John Lennon Songwriting Contest), plays guitar and piano, is an accomplished dancer (performing with the New York City Ballet), choreographer, poet, graphic artist and painter. Sage has amassed nearly 10 million views on YouTube. Me, I have trouble doing my job and the laundry. To write her latest project, the Choreographer CD, Sage holed up in a London hotel room. “I didn’t let myself leave my room every day until I’d written at least one song,” Sage said. So that’s how she does it!
Sage will tour extensively until June, hitting NY, NC, GA, SC, TN, OH, PA, NJ, CA, IL and MI along the way, including several stops in TX, notably the MPress SXSW Birthday bash on March 18, on bustling 6th Street in Austin.
