By the time he was 20, 1970s heartthrob David Cassidy had become the biggest performing phenomenon on television, but over four decades, he has reinvented himself in theater, Las Vegas and recording studios as an actor, singer, producer, writer and director.
Cassidy earned an Emmy nomination for Best Dramatic Actor in Police Story and starred in the original Broadway production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He shared stages with Sir Laurence Olivier in Time in London and with his brother, Shaun, in Blood Brothers, on Broadway. Under his creative direction, EFX at the MGM Grand became the most successful production in Las Vegas. The Partridge Family’s favorite son sold well over 30 million albums worldwide, and Cassidy will perform hits from the TV show (“I Think I Love You,” “I Woke Up in Love This Morning”), as well as favorites from his solo career (“Cherish”). Tickets on sale at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722). VIP Meet-and-Greet with photo op available. |
