Brooklyn-based funky four piece the Phryg are having their album release show at DROM in NYC. They are a progressive funk group inspired by groups such as P-Funk, Frank Zappa and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band was founded by guitarist Collin Patierno in 2013, and they perform regularly at music venues such as the Knitting Factory and the Studio at Webster Hall in New York City. They have been written about in publications such as Pittsburgh Music Magazine and The Journal News.
