From Northern Virginia, Melodime – a country twang and rock n’ roll band – is made up of Brad Rhodes (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Sammy Duis (piano, organ, bass), Tyler Duis (drums) and Jon Wiley (backing vocals, guitar, mandolin, dobro). In their hometown, the band has performed at popular venues such as Jammin Java, The State Theatre and 9:30 Club. Performing 125+ shows throughout the United States annually, the band has shared stages with well-known acts such as Sam Hunt, Jonny Lang, A Thousand Horses and Sister Hazel. The band also founded and runs the charity ‘Now I Play Along Too,’ which provides musical instruments and lessons to underprivileged children in the DC area, Florida and Haiti.
Melodime’s previous albums were recorded with platinum-selling producers, including Where the Sinners & the Saints Collide with Rick Beato (Parmalee, NeedToBreathe) and 3 Reasons For Fighting with Jim Ebert (Butch Walker, Cowboy Mouth). Already kicking off the fall leg of their tour on August 21 in their hometown, the busy touring schedule will include three dates supporting Ron Pope, one date supporting Corey Smith and 18 headline shows around the East Coast, Southeast and Midwest. This latest string of dates comes in support of Melodime’s new single, “Little Thing Called Love” — produced by Beato at Black Dog Sound in Stone Mountain, GA.
