Ho ho ho and happy holidays too! We rocked out for a good cause at Jesse Malin’s 2nd annual Velvet Elk Holiday Extravaganza at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on Saturday, December 10th.
Malin was joined by a headspinning array of special guests, who delivered a grand old time and raised funds to purchase a new wheelchair for the band’s good friend Natty B.
The night kicked off with a series of performances by Holly Ramos, Richard Bacchus, Don DiLego & the Touristas, Tommy Stinson’s Cowboys in the Campfire and Jesse Malin and his band. Then, the party continued with a song for song replay of the Rolling Stones’ Goats Head Soup. Joan Jett, Diane Gentile, Hollis Brown all joined in on the fun for a night of endless surprises and all the warmth and joy that the holidays can bring.
Find out more about Velvet Elk Records on their website, and check out Malin’s touching story about Natty B. on their Booster fundraising page.
