From Platinum to Gold, indeed! Music icon Stevie Nicks brought her “24 Karat Gold” Tour to NYC’s Madison Square Garden for a sold out show with special guests, the Pretenders.
Nicks performed a 122—entirely sold out—world tour with Fleetwood Mac in 2014-2015, but this 27 city US tour picks up where she left off after the release of 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault in 2014. Nicks’ eight solo album, it debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 Charts and featured newly recorded versions of demos from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. This tour also coincides with the recent, early November release of expanded reissues of 1981’s Bella Donna and 1983’s The Wild Heart.
For the show, Nicks brought along Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders, who released their 10th studio album, Alone, in October, and are joining her for all 27 dates.
