We recently reported that Peekskill, NY has a lot going for it, and now there’s one more goodie. Slowly but surely, country music is creeping back into the Northeast, and Peekskill’s got a restaurant and bar with country music!
Two decades ago, the Big Apple had half a dozen nationally-recognized country venues, then none. Now it’s gaining the Opry City Stage, the offspring of a threesome: Nashville’s Grand Old Opry, the Iridium and Blue Ribbon Restaurants. Top acts, top sound, top food—the City may give Peekskill a run for its money.
Maybe we could get a country radio station up here? Hellooo?
