Two of the most interesting shows at BottleRock are ones we can’t show you. Halsey, known for her slinky, glam, see-through outfits, showed up for one gig here in Daisy Mae shorts and an Oakland A’s shirt, her many tats in view. Shortly after, someone on her team reconsidered her image (pun intended), and all photographers were required to turn in their photos for “approval.” Sorry, readers, we do what we can.

Bruno Mars, who did put on a great show to close the festival, upfront allowed no photography. Wearing a Pirates shirt (sports themes ran high at BottleRock), he grinned, sang and danced his way through a wonderful set, no less than expected of this multi-talented performer at this point.
