Parkinson’s Disease charitable organization, The Light of Day Foundation’s super-supporter Joe D’Urso will make a rare Brooklyn appearance Saturday, April 20th with Light of Day brother and GRAMMY-nominated Bluesman Guy Davis in an intimate house concert environment. (Davis lost out to the Rolling Stones last year.)
They will perform two sets together following a renaming of the The Dwyer Cultural Center in Harlem in honor of Guy Davis’ parents, Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee, as well as having the street re-named after them. The famed couple are being recognized for years of good work and activism in this country.
Doors at 7:30, Show 8 PM.
