A powerhouse of vintage revival which seamlessly blurs the lines between country, soul and rock, The 40 Acre Mule have built their own unique sound and brought it to festivals across the countryꟷeven before releasing an album.

Influenced by elders like Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Bo Diddley and Ray Charles and inspired by contemporary artists such as J.D. McPherson, Nathaniel Rateliff and Gary Clark Jr., the bandhas now been nominated for “Best Of” awards andꟷnone too soonꟷrecorded their dynamic music on their upcoming full-length debut, Goodnight & Good Luck. Now their loyal following and new fans can boogie at will.

Leader Isaiah Evans told Elmore, “If we were going to make a video for this song, it had to be fun and it had to feature the places and people that got us to where we are now. So, we came up with this concept with the director, John Patrick Hughes, and photographer Casey Kinney. Casey shot us, photobooth style, with some our best friends in the graffiti-covered bathroom of the Lakewood Landing in Dallas. John Patrick shot us playing live at The Double Wide, which is where the first verse of ‘Bathroom Walls’ was born. The video turned out even better than we could have hoped and we’re really proud of it!”

The 40 Acre Mule (here, crowded in with friends and fans) are: J. Isaiah Evans (guitar & vocals), Robert Anderson (drums), Tim Cooper (bass), Chris Evetts (baritone sax & percussion), and John Pedigo (guitar & vocals).
