Roots-rock ensemble JJ Grey & Mofro are coming back with a new album. Titled Ol’ Glory, the album is set to be released on Provogue Records on March 3rd.
With his first album on Provogue and Mascot Label Group, Grey decided to craft a record that solidifies his status as a renaissance man. The Southern rocker’s repertoire covers everything from blues and soul to rock & roll and R&B. Recorded at Retrophonics Studio in St. Augustine, Florida, the album features all of the crack musicians in Mofro, as well as contributions from the likes of Luther Dickinson and Derek Trucks.
