Anyone who knows keyboard whiz Dave Keyes—as a solo artist, producer, arranger, musical director for Broadway and TV, and sideman to everyone from Chuck Berry, Bo Diddly, David Johanson, Ronnie Spector to Darlene Love, Odetta to Levon Helm—knows he’s not only a terrific artist, but that he’s fun. Leave it to Keyes, then, to turn a worldwide pandemic into tappin’ and clappin’ when his irrepressible boogie-woogie kicks in.
